Assistant/Associate Professor in Marketing (Full Time)

Appointments will be contractual, open-ended, and renewed upon positive annual performance evaluations in teaching, research, and service.

Job Description

Bussecon International Academy in the School of Business at Ibn Haldun University invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Marketing or any related field to start in  Spring 2022. The ideal candidate should hold a Ph.D. degree in marketing with an active research record in and has teaching experience in at least two of the following subjects:  Corporate Marketing, Internet Marketing, Sales Management, and Quantitative Marketing. International Applicants should hold recognized degrees by the Department of Recognition and Equivalence Services at Council of Higher Education in Turkey.

 

Minimum Qualifications

The ideal candidate who should possess excellent communication skills in English must be ambitious, self-motivated, hard-working, with the ability to work both individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team where scientific creativity is essential. The applicant must have completed a PhD in marketing or any related field from a reputable North American (U.S. or Canada) or European university ( Preferably) with at least two years of teaching experience after the doctoral degree. Successful candidates should have good quality publication record and are expected to publish high-quality research in leading peer-reviewed journals and work in close collaboration with the research centers of Bussecon International Academy and School of Business at Ibn Haldun University, Istanbul, Turkey.

 

Contract

The ideal candidate should hold a Ph.D. degree in data science or any relevant field including computer engineering, MIS and operations management with an active research record in and has teaching experience in at least two of the following subjects: Business and Data analytics, business intelligence, big data, knowledge discovery, managerial statistics, data mining and management science. International Applicants should hold recognized degrees by the Department of Recognition and Equivalence Services at Council of Higher Education in Turkey.
